Thank you to all students, parents, families and Instructors for our first full year of training in what feels like a decade or two. It is time to wrap up for the year, so we will be having our final classes and breakup parties this week:

Balwyn North Dojo – Wednesday 14th December

Juniors – Breakup Party for all students at 4:30pm – Outside, so bring runners

Adults & Teens – Training at 7:30pm – Dinner at “One Thai” Restaurant to follow

Ashburton Dojo – Thursday 15th December

Juniors – Breakup Party for all students at 4:30pm

Adults & Teens – Training at 7:30pm – Dinner at “Cafe Grande Forno” to follow

We will be running our normal timetable until then, but if you are training on Monday at Balwyn North Dojo, remember to bring runners as we will be training outside.

Final Gradings for the year will be:

Adults & Teens – Tuesday 13th December at 6:30pm – Ashburton Dojo

Black Belt and Dan Grading – Saturday 17th December at 9am – Ashburton Dojo (rescheduled from Sunday 11th December)

Good luck to those attempting the Grading. It was great to see so many of you start your martial journey, reach goals, make mistakes, bounce back from those mistakes, make some more, extend yourselves, win medals, experience disappointment, grow and help each other along the way. I can’t wait for next year where I expect more of the same, just bigger and better. Have a wonderful Christmas and new year break and try to fit in some Karate practice.
