After a lengthy lockdown, we are finally reopening both Dojos on Monday 9th November and classes in person can resume. We are so excited to see everyone return to training and to hopefully welcome a new group of students to join our club soon. The determination and ingenuity displayed by all those who trained at home via Zoom over the past 8 months has been nothing short of inspiring. I have been so privileged to have been able to continue your training online and I have so enjoyed seeing you all not only maintain your skills, but pick up some new ones as well. I would like to extend a huge congratulations to all of you who trained. For those of you who have not been able to train online, but have stayed in touch and indicated your enthusiasm about returning to training, I can’t wait to see you again. All of the Instructors have missed you dearly. I hope you ave managed to keep up wth some practice over the past 8 months. I am sure that those skills haven’t gone too far. They will be back with a vengeance soon. All students have been emailed a full list of guidelines and protocols for our return to training. All Instructors have undergone COVID Safe training and we have a COVID Safe Plan in place. There will be a livestream of all classes available to all members, but please do not share this link with anyone outside of our club or your family. We will continue to offer online training for the time being on a Friday. We will continue our regular Friday Zoom timetable and reassess in a few weeks if that timetable should continue or be amended. Let’s all make sure that 2020 is seen off on a positive note. I hope that you have all had as good a lockdown as people can have and I can’t wait to take our next step on our Martial Arts journey together. See you at the Dojo!
